Creating wealth is the goal.   Done properly it can make retirement something to look forward to when the time arrives.   The specific purpose of this site is to provide some (NOT all!) of the tools that are available to each and every one of us to prepare for retirement.

As we all are aware, social security may not provide the answer and unlike previous generations, after working at the Company for 30+ years, the old company pension is not going to be the answer for most of us.

However, knowing how to maximize the tools available to us such as the individual IRA savings plan(s) enables us to take a positive step in the right direction.   Self directed IRA accounts have numerous options and we are going to focus here on the variety of IRA accounts and investments in real estate, outright ownership, and through passive investments in mortgage lending.

As always, any plan executed properly is better than no plan or doing nothing.   An excellent book “IRA Wealth - Revolutionary Strategies for Real Estate Investments” by Patrick W. Rice contains many ideas the average investor can embrace.
